I'm coming home from dinner with my dad and my family
Pull up in the driveway, can't believe what i had to see.
garage door is open, when i left I know I had it locked
took a risk and looked inside, and I could tell that I'd been robbed.
though the lock was broken, I was hopen it wasn't so bad.
Nope, they took equipment I was storing, worth at least a grand
Not feeling safe, cause crooks return to the scene of a crime,
So I head to my moms and call up the cops, in record time.
Just a few weeks ago, BLM was screaming unity.
and fix up our communities, and none of that was new to me.
but tell me what's fixed when your own kind's stealing your property?
and all the neighborhood watch does is watch them do the robbery.
and the same ones robbing you get mad when you're filing reports.
calling you a snitch when they're caught and get sent off to court.

come home to find / police next door, with neighbors saying they got held up.
Then the cops pull guns on me! I'm getting cuffed down and felt up.
No probable cause, no warrant, and no weapon on me.
I wasn't even out my car and they was stepping to me!
Half hour cuffed in front of my house, never asked if I lived there.
they let me go when the neighbors said It wasn't me, I can't believe it went there.
Oh, NOW they wanna ask me questions like friendly neighborhood officers.
NOW they ask about my break in, (but only after I brought it up).
I'm the one that got robbed, yet they treat ME like the criminal?
They'd ignore a white guy with a general description, though.
neither black nor blue thought MY life mattered.
nobody's got my back & my faith's been shattered.
these activists and cops try to garner all our sympathy,
but when it hit the fan, neither one of them did SH** for me.
that's when you realize they've all been playing you.

When a white woman got shot by a black cop yawl wasn’t having that
Now you want to protest and put signs up everywhere
But when the victim didn’t look like you, you didn’t care
You weren’t screaming all lives matter when those refugees
Were running for their lives, at your door screaming help me please
little bodies washing with the tide didn’t move you.
I guess the lives of children didn’t matter much to you.
But let that happen to kids from your spot and watch the outrage.
Folk should have compassion whether or not it’s the front page.
