about

When I decided to get serious about coming out of retirement, this was the first song I recorded. Dad helped a lot on showing me how to navigate Cakewalk and Protools. I wanted to make a dis song, but 1) I don’t really have any beef with anybody specifically, 2) I think calling out somebody without just cause is extremely foolish and unnecessary, and 3) I didn’t want to do the usual “dissing of a nameless, generic MC” that all of us rappers have done at some point in time. So I found something I really do hate (being broke) and personified it.

about

Jugghead Flint, Michigan

Jugghead Green is Quan's musical alter-ego. He is Quan's unrestrained psyche, speaking out on whatever is on his mind whenever he feels like it, without the restraint or tact Quan would normally use.
